We appreciated staying here. the hotel is modern with amiable staff who are an example of good customer service. the location is unbeatable – only a 5-minute walk to Hick's Art Gallery.

The garden and the prolific amount of rose bushes.

The hotel describes itself as providing luxury accommodation.We took the R1400 room which we considered less than ordinary.The hand basin was in the sleeping area and not in the bathroom so when you used the toilet you had to go into sleeping area to wash your hands.There was a shower in the bathroom but no bath as described in the hotel info.Our room backed onto a busy side road about 4 meters away so it was noisy.We booked a table in the dining room for our evening meal and when we came in to eat we found the table had been given to other guests. We pointed this out to the dining room staff whose response was one of indifference.The guests at the table we booked did offer to move,but we declined the offer as they were well into their meal and we did not see why they should be inconvenienced through no fault of thiers.The only other table available was in the dining room entrance next to a noisy piano. So we finished up eating dinner in the breakfast room. So overall our stay was disappointing.We have had better for a lot less money.

The Staff were most attentive . On the Garden Route and not so far from our home . The Scones at breakfast - fresh baked,still hot and homemade jam -no good for the diet !!!

I would only use this hotel for a convenient one night / journey break stay. The buildings are old - a real shame to see - what once was probably a fine hotel start to decline and need much money spent on it. But has real charm----------------

We had a fine time at the hotel and would definitely go back. Everything was beautiful, unique property. 3. the location was absolutely perfect, not far from a wonderful, park-like garden, the surrounding mountains, and the center.

the service was good, no complaints whatsoever, it was just what we needed.

Clean and QUIRKY place with accommodating staff who are an example to other hotels as to how the principle of "Customer Service " should be conducted. Particularly good location to the Methodist church for morning service, very clean pool.

The location was quiet, within a close distance from Montagu Museum. My room was individually decorated with a comfy bed and a hearty breakfast.

The staff at Montagu Country Hotel were amazingly nice and showed us the spa center. the hearty breakfast offered fresh baked goods of a very high standard with a wide variety to choose from.

I had a great stay with a cozy bed, air conditioning, and a lounge, conveniently located close to the town center, beach.

This place is one-of-a-kind, tidy, with fantastic food, and a friendly, efficient team, conveniently located near Hick's Art Gallery.

Had a wonderful stay at the Montagu Country Hotel and would definitely return. Everything was good, including the amiable staff and lovely views of the garden. - the location was lovely, just a 10-15 minute walk from Montagu Museum.

The family room was fantastic, with a convenient roll-in shower, hair dryer included, and soft bath sheets provided, in a pleasant setting close to the local museum.

The rooms are well-equipped and individually decorated. There are lots of above-average and hearty breakfast options. - the hotel is located in a magnificent spot, close to the main street and a national park within walking distance.

Comfortable rooms with air-conditioning, stylish decor, private bathrooms, and handy conveniences like electric kettles and refrigerators 🏨.

The value for money was excellent, and our room was cozy and comfortable. The location was great, with peaceful gardens and a vintage car tour to explore the surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with faster service and better attention to detail.
